DC Police Patch in honor of Officer Terry Bennett

This patch was created in honor of Police Officer Terry L. Bennett, who dedicated nearly eight years to serving the community with humility, heart, and a willingness to step in whenever someone needed help. On December 23, 2025, he stopped along I‑695 to assist a stranded motorist—an act that truly reflected who he was. He passed on January 7, 2026, and his loss has been felt deeply by everyone who knew him, worked alongside him, and loved him.

A portion of the proceeds from this patch will go directly to Officer Bennett’s family. This is just a small way to support them, keep his memory alive, and remind those closest to him that his courage and kindness won’t be forgotten.
